Drama Teacher

Pupils are evaluated and a course of study is then adapted to meet individual needs and abilities.  Instruction may include diction, enunciation, voice development and dialects, movement, acting styles and character development.  Drama teachers may produce and direct plays for school and/or public performances.  Preparation for plays may include supervising the actors, make-up and costumes, décor and scenery, lighting techniques and sound effects, making the props, and even related functions such as making and distributing the posters, producing the programs, training ushers and the like.
