Lee-Andra Francis is juggling multiple careers and roles while taking her National Certificate Vocational Certificate in Tourism to the skies.
Business owner and partner to multiple SMME’s, Lee-Andra is actively involved in the running of each of her businesses, ranging from food services, fashion, travel logistics and government procurement. This young lady is on a mission to establish and grow her business portfolio to create opportunities for not only herself, but also the teams she manages.
After completing her qualification, Lee-Andra relocated to Johannesburg, the city recognised as the financial capital of South Africa.
Knowing in her final year of studies that she wanted to start her own travel agency, she took the bold step and registered her own business which, among others, services government departments.
This young lady is a hands-on boss, assisting with business operations, believing that every task, no matter how menial, is an opportunity to enhance her business offerings. Lee-Andre advises anyone wanting to make a success to work hard, do more and to remember that success is not the key to happiness, happiness is the key to success.
Today an entrepreneur and humanitarian, Lee-Andra wasn’t always this sure of what her path in life would be. This is why she will forever be grateful for the part False Bay TVET College played in her journey to independence. She makes special mention of Ms T Gasant, her tourism lecturer saying “she pushed me even further than I dreamed I could go.” Lee-Andra truly is an ambassador and success story for False Bay TVET College.
