Landscape Constructor

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Landscape Constructors design, develop, maintain and remodel gardens and landscapes. They work on residential and commercial properties, as well as environments like botanical gardens.

TYPICAL TASKS:

• liaising with clients and understanding their garden desires
• designing and planning with computer software programs
• transforming a landscape to make it visually appealing
• utilising practical knowledge of construction materials and suppliers
• using plant knowledge to design a functional and sustainable landscape
• managing workers
• budgeting and administration of project costs
• visiting and managing various project sites
