How do I become a Marriage & Family Counsellor?
You will need a qualification.
PATH 1
- Bachelor’s degree / Honours with a major in Psychology
PATH2
- Bachelors of Psychology degree with an internship in marriage & family counselling
PATH 3
- Study to become a Social Worker plus workplace experience in marriage & family counselling
PATH 4
- Study an Honours or 4 year degree in a related field and then gather work experience in the marriage & family counselling environment. You could also do a postgraduate qualification in Marriage & Family Counselling.
