Make a first good impression with your application form!
A neat and fully completed form will create a good impression before you even have to say your first word!
There are many different reasons why you would need to fill in an Application Form:
- to apply to an institution of higher learning
- to apply for a study loan
- to apply for some jobs / bursaries / apprenticeships / learnerships / grad programs / etc
The Pre-Interview
- Your Application Form is your PRE-interview for the opportunity
- You will need to make your very BEST first impression!
You will need to show the institution or company that you …
- understand what the opportunity is about
- are serious about the opportunity

Remember!
100’s, and sometimes 1000’s of young people will be applying for the same opportunity.

- making it look fantastic!
- take your time
- read everything very very carefully (that means ALL the sections)
- if you don’t know what a word means, look it up
- fill your application form in very neatly – (avoid scribbling in a hurry)
- if they can’t read your handwriting, your application will be rejected
- use good spelling and grammar
- date and sign application form (this is not negotiable) … no signature / date, means your application will be rejected!
- attach ALL the documents THEY ask for
- check! check! check!
TIPS
