What is an Aircraft Loader?
Aircraft Loaders pack, load and unload aircraft and transfer freight and baggage between airport buildings and aircraft. They also assist passengers to and from aircraft.
What does an Aircraft Loader do?
- read baggage tags and plane schedules etc
- make sure baggage/freight gets onto the right plane
- dealwith luggage/freight that went to the wrong place
- pack and stack luggage and freight
- find lost luggage and hand it in to ‘Lost Property’
- deal with broken luggage or packaging
- work shifts (aeroplanes take off and land at strange hours)

How do I become an Aircraft Loader?
There are no apparent studies to become an Aircraft Loader.
Being physically strong is compulsory and having a passion for aeroplanes would be recommended.
A driver’s license would be nice, but not necessary.
