I want to become an Entrepreneur or a Social Worker.
When most people look at the fields of Entrepreneurship and Social Work they may think that they are far apart.
But Social Entrepreneurs are people who use entrepreneurial solutions to society’s most pressing social problems. Rather than leaving societal needs to the government or business, Social Entrepreneurs find what is not working and solve the problem by changing the system, spreading the solution, and persuading societies to move in different directions.
What these careers have in common is the need for money to allow them to achieve goals. So the best training for an Entrepreneur is a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom). The first year of a BCom is very wide-ranging and exposes a student to all the functions an organization needs, but particularly financial. In the second year one can specialize in one aspect.
