What is a Picker Packer?
A Picker Packer usually works in a warehouse or in a shipping company.

What does a Picker Packer do?
- reads order slips
- finds and chooses the right products to match order
- chooses appropriate packing materials and packaging product safely
- fixes address and tracking labels to packaging
- loadis and unloads trucks
- counts inventory (stock)
- checks that all information matches (goods in / goods out)
- controls quality: checking for breakages, imperfections etc

How do I become a Picker Packer?
Minimum requirements:
One does NOT need a matric. It’s advisable to have at least a Grade 10 with mathematics or maths literacy. You should be able to read and write.
NOTE:
If you can’t afford tertiary education, becoming a Picker Packer may be the first step to bigger and greater things.
If you show ambition and good work ethic, the company may pay for you to do further training.
With this FREE training you could be promoted, earn a higher salary and have a better life.
It’s up to you though, to show the initiative.
