What is a Veterinary Nurse?

A Veterinary Nurse helps a veterinarian.  The veterinarian’s tells the Veterinary Nurse (men or women) how to attend to animals and give them medicine and hands-on care.

They also help veterinarians during operations, and take laboratory samples.

What does a Veterinary Nurse Do?

  • gets animals ready for examination and holding them during treatment
