Ethical Hacker

Contrary to popular belief, there are many computer hackers who do not want to infiltrate and destroy a company’s data, but enjoy the challenge of breading code.  There are mainly two types of hackers, the so-called black hackers and white hackers.  Ethical hackers are “white hackers” who use their talents to render a services.  Ethical hackers are employed or sometimes outsourced by a company.  They attempt to infiltrate a secure computer system to obtain knowledge on the system’s weakness.  Any information gained is usually passed onto an IT security consultant, who will provide a software solution to prevent the problem from recurring.  White hackers must be able to use all the techniques that black  hackers use in order to find all the possible ways of getting into a site.
