What is a Radiotrician?

A Radiotrician is responsible for all the radio, communication and navigational equipment on aircraft, ships, boats and other forms of transport.

This job also includes the installation, repair and adjustment of the equipment.

You must love electronics.  It is a very challenging but rewarding career. You will have to keep up to date with all the new technology.

  • Learnership – Electronics Manufacturing and Assembly (Casting and Moulding) NQF Level 2, 3 and 4

  • Learnership – Electronics Manufacturing and Assembly (Logistics) NQF Level 2, 3 and 4
  • Trade Test

PATH 4

  • Learnership – Electronics Manufacturing and Assembly (Using Tools) NQF Level 2, 3 and 4
  • Trade Test

PATH 5

  • Learnership – Instrument Mechanician NQF Level 2, 3 and 4
  • Trade Test

  • National Certificate: Engineering Studies: N1, N2 and N3

Minimum requirements:  Grade 11 (N1) in Mathematics and Science.
